The Chairman’s Message: June 2013
The 2013 Emerson Exchange is developing into another highly valuable conference. This year’s Call for Presentations produced over 750 abstracts—a new record! The presentations committee has been reviewing these informative and diverse presentations and has painstakingly selected some 400 sessions we believe will give you the breadth of opportunities at “Combining the Elements” that you’ve come to expect from Emerson Exchange. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank all of you who submitted abstracts for this year’s Exchange, and regret we are unable to include more of them in the conference. Your contributions are the very essence of the Emerson Exchange experience.
Evolving economics, regulations, technology, and expertise impact us all. That’s why you need to attend the 2013 Emerson Exchange—this is your opportunity for “Combining the Elements” of success to impact your company’s bottom line. The value you gain from Exchange is limited only by the amount of knowledge you can absorb while attending.
This year, attendees will be able to take advantage of a wide range of exciting resources, including:
- More than 400 Sessions and Forums
- Technology Exhibits with more square footage and solutions than ever before
- Certified Professional Development with 16 courses offered by Emerson Educational Services
- A Networking Event you will not forget – at Cowboys Stadium
In addition, we’ll continue our Meet the Experts sessions on Friday morning – so be sure to leave room on your schedule to meet and share questions, insights and experiences with some of the process industry’s best and brightest.
Please remember to use the Personal Scheduler to plan your week and sessions at the conference. The more of you who utilize this tool, the better we can forecast appropriate room sizing.
Mark your calendar for September 30th–October 4th, and join us in Grapevine, Texas, for what promises to be the best Exchange to date. Registration is now open and “Early Bird” discounted registration runs through August 15th.
Take action now to reserve your opportunity at “Combining the Elements” – the 2013 Emerson Exchange.
I hope to see you there!
Tracy Waller, Chairman – Board of Directors
