Raising over $10,000 for American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Since April, the office has been ablaze in pink. This phenomenon has been spearheaded by our fearless Team Leader for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, who has coordinated multiple events and fundraisers to help draw in money for the cause. Between a raffle, poker night, donation requests, and selling “summer causal work wear” passes, our Team Leader has set a new personal fundraising record for Applied Control: so far, donations have totaled up to over $10,000 for breast cancer research and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

And we’re not done yet. We realize it takes more than finances to find a cure: it’s a longer journey that also requires emotional support, and some elbow grease. Many colleagues and their families are looking forward to joining hundreds of others in Greenwood Village for the 5K walk.   The Making Strides walk will take place October 19th – that’s just 20 days away. We can’t express enough gratitude to all those who have provided their energy and efforts for this great cause.
