Fisher® easy-e™ ED, EAD, and EDR

Fisher easy-e™ ED, EAD, and EDR single-port control valves have balanced valve plugs, cage guiding, and metal-to-metal seating for all general applications over a wide range of process pressure drops and temperatures. These general purpose, sliding-stem valves are used for either throttling or on-off control of a wide variety of liquids and gases.

Fisher® easy-e™ ES and EAS

Fisher easy-e™ ES and EAS general-purpose control valves are used for throttling or on-off control of a wide variety of liquids and gases. Both valve designs have single ports, unbalanced valve plugs, and cage guiding. In both designs, metal-to-metal seating is standard for all general applications over a wide range of pressure drops and temperatures. Metal-to-PTFE seating is optional for more stringent shutoff requirements.

Fisher® easy-e™ ET, EAT and ETR

Fisher easy-e™ ET, EAT, and ETR general-purpose control valves are used for throttling or on-off control of a wide variety of liquids and gases. All three valve designs have single ports, balanced valve plugs, and cage guiding. Metal-to-PTFE seating for stringent shutoff requirements is standard in all valves except those with Cavitrol™ III cages. Metal-to-metal seating for higher temperatures is standard for valves with Cavitrol™ III cages and optional for all other valves. The temperature limits of ET valves can be extended above 232°C (450°F) by using PEEK anti-extrusion rings in combination with a spring-loaded PTFE sea

Fisher® easy-e™ EUT-2, EWT-2, EUD, EWD, EUT and EWT

The Fisher® NPS 12 through 24 × 20 CL150 through CL600 EUT-2, EWT-2, EUD, EWD, EUT, and EWT general-purpose valves are used for either throttling or on-off control of a wide variety of liquids and gasses. These valves have single ports, balanced valve plugs, and cage guiding.

EUT-2 and EWT-2 valves with a hanging cage are available for demanding applications in oil and natural gas to 232°C (450°F). The hanging cage, with the seat ring threaded into the cage, gives these valves easy-maintenance trim since no trim parts are threaded into the valve body. The seal between the plug and cage and the seal between the seat ring and valve body are spring-loaded PTFE seals. CL900 NPS 16 and 20 x 16 valves are available upon request. Please contact your Emerson Process Management sales office for more details. EUD and EWD valves have a bolted-in seat ring. These valves have metal-to-metal seating and use two graphite piston rings between the valve plug and cage. They are used primarily for high temperature (over 232°C [450°F]) service. Bore Seal trim is used to obtain Class V shutoff above 316°C (600°F).

EUT and EWT valves have a bolted-in seat ring. These valves have metal-to-metal seating and use PEEK anti-extrusion rings to obtain temperatures up to 316°C (600°F).
These valves share the following characteristics: multiple trim material choices, trim part interchangeability, and different cage styles to provide particular flow characteristics to handle specific applications.

To help reduce aerodynamic noise in gas service, Whisper Trim™ III and WhisperFlo™ cages are available. To eliminate liquid cavitation damage, Cavitrol™ III cages are available. For cavitating liquids with particulate, DST (dirty service trim) is available.

Fisher® easy-e™ EW Series

Fisher easy-e EW Series easy-e™ valves feature large internal cavities with expanded end connections and a variety of unbalanced and balanced plug designs. Sizes available from NPS 4×2 through 12×8. These combinations provide good fluid control in economical, high-capacity valve bodies that keep valve outlet velocities within practical limits. These valves meet a variety of service requirements, such as power plants where oversized piping is used to limit fluid flow velocity. They also perform well in noise abatement applications; for example, high-pressure gas reducing stations where sonic velocities are often encountered at the outlet of conventional valve bodies.

Fisher® easy-e™ EZ

Fisher easy-e™ EZ valves are used for throttling or on-off control of a wide variety of liquids and gases. The single-port, globe-style body design offers quick-change trim and a post-guided, unbalanced valve plug. The EZ valve is used in chemical or hydrocarbon processing applications or wherever control of non-lubricating, viscous, or other hard-to-handle fluids is required. Metal-to-metal seating is standard for all general applications over a wide range of pressure drops and temperatures. Metal-to-PTFE seating is optional for stringent shutoff requirements.

Fisher® YD & YS

Fisher® YD and YS three-way cage-guided valves are designed for throttling or flow-switching (on-off) service. The YD balanced valves are for general converging (flow-mixing) and diverging (flow-splitting) service. They are available in standard and high-temperature versions. The YS unbalanced valves are for general converging service. When used in diverging service, YS valves are recommended for on-off applications only.
