Fisher® Type 63EG Relief Valve or Backpressure Regulator

Fisher® Type 63EG pilot-operated pressure relief valves may be used for both liquid and gas service. Type 63EG is also suitable for throttling backpressure or bypass applications. The main valves in both constructions use quick-change trim package for fast maintenance.

A Position Monitor Bracket (PMB) is available for the Type 63EG to mount the 4300 Series Wireless Position Monitors to the travel indicator. The PMB mounting kit is compatible with both Topworx® 4310 and Fisher® 4320 Wireless Position Monitors.

Fisher® Type 63EG-98HM Pilot-Operated Relief Valve or Backpressure Regulator

Fisher® Type 63EG-98HM pilot operated relief valve or backpressure regulator can be used for gas, liquid, or steam applications. For applications up to 550°F / 288°C, the Type 63EG-98HM utilizes high temperature Ethylenepropylene (EPDM) or Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) for class VI shutoff. If used in a corrosive service, Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) and other elastomers are available options that offer superior resistance to heat and most corrosive chemicals.

When using the Type 63EG-98HM with a corrosive liquid, usually water or a water-containing solution, the valve materials must be selected with care. For aqueous solutions, use a stainless steel linear cage or Whisper Trim III Cage and body flange to ensure valve plug travel on a corrosion-free surface.

Fisher® 98 Seriesis used for backpressure or relief applications in liquid, gas, air, and steam service. Types 98L, 98H, and 98HH are direct-operated and spring-loaded. Types 98LD and 98HD use additional pressure loading to maintain relief differential pressures, backpressures or for remote setpoint adjustment.

Type 98HM is a direct-operated, spring to close regulator for backpressure or relief applications in liquid, gas, or steam service. The regulator requires no external power to operate and features a sensing line connection for sensing pressure externally from the regulator. A seal washer for the set screw can be included when applications require pressure loading of the spring case (not available on NPS 1-1/2 and 2 bodies / DN 40 and 50).

Fisher® 289 Series Relief Valve / Backpressure Regulator

Fisher® 289 Series relief valves are spring-loaded throttling relief valves used as downstream pressure regulators to protect the system from overpressure. A smooth throttling action minimizes pressure surges in the system during relief operation. 289 Series relief valves are ideal for low-pressure settings due to the increased sensitivity provided by a large diaphragm area. 289 Series relief valves are designed for pressure control; they are not ASME safety relief valves.
Fisher® Type 289P Relief Valve or Backpressure Regulator

Fisher® Type 289P  pilot-operated relief valve is used to provide protection from overpressuring a downstream system. This relief valve is suitable for service on natural gas, air, propane, or any other operating meduim not corrosive to the internal parts. Smooth opening action minimizes system pressure surges during emergency action. Very little buildup over set pressure is required to completely open the main valve for maximum relief capacity. The external control line provides quick, accurate pressure registration.
Fisher® Type 630R Relief Valve

Fisher® Type 630R is a general relief valve that is available in NPS 1 and 2 (DN 25 and 50) body sizes. It is frequently used at compressor stations, refineries and similar plants requiring a backpressure gas regulator for relief pressure settings up to 250 psig  (17,2 bar).

Type 630R is available in both high-pressure and low pressure constructions; the low pressure units have larger diaphragm area to provide more accurate control of low pressure settings while the high-pressure units can withstand inlet pressure up to  550 psig (37,9 bar) and can control pressures up to 250 psig (17,2 bar).

Fisher® 1805 Series Relief Valve

Fisher® 1805 Series relief valves are designed for use in farm tap applications where a relief valve is needed between the first-stage and second-stage regulator. 1805 Series relief valves are suitable for natural gas, air, propane, or any medium compatible with the internal valve parts. Relief pressures range from 5 to 125 psig / 0,34 to 8,6 bar. Maximum pressure, including buildup, is 150 psig / 10,3 bar.
Fisher® Type 1805P-6358

Fisher® Type 1805P-6358 relief valve is an accurate, low-cost, pilot-operated relief valve consisting of a Type 1805P main valve and a Type 6358 pilot. It is available in the NPS 2 size and is capable of relief pressure settings of 10 to 100 psig (0,69 to 6,9 bar) in three ranges. The relief pressure setting can be adjusted by rotating the pilot spring adjustment screw.

Fisher® Type EZR Pilot Operated Pressure Reducing Regulator

Fisher® Type EZR pilot-operated, pressure relief valve or backpressure regulator is typically used in city gate and district stations as a relief valve for overpressure protection, or in commercial and industrial applications as a backpressure regulator. Type EZR provides smooth, quiet operation, tight shutoff, and long life, even in dirty service. Its internally actuated metal plug eliminates disadvantages associated with boot-style relief valves and backpressure regulators. The specially engineered flow path deflects debris, protecting the seat from damage and erosion. Type EZR relief valve or backpressure regulator can be converted to a pressure reducing regulator simply by changing to a pressure reducing piloting system (see Bulletin 71.2:EZR: Fisher EZR Relief Valve or Backpressure Regulator Product Bulletin)
Fisher® Type H120 Relief Valve

Fisher® Type H120 direct-operated relief valve has a preset and pinned spring retainer.  The inlet pressure registers directly on a spring-opposed poppet assembly, which includes a Nitrile (NBR) disk.  When the inlet pressure increases above the spring setting, the poppet and disk assembly is pushed away from the metal seat. 

Type H120 may be used where venting to the atmosphere is acceptable and where some pressure-relieving tolerance is acceptable.
Fisher® H200 Series

Fisher® H200 Series Pop relief valves are direct-operated relief valves with preset and pinned spring retainers.  The inlet pressure registers directly on a spring-opposed poppet assembly that includes a Nitrile (NBR) disk.  When the inlet gas pressure increases above the spring setting, the poppet and disk assembly is pushed away from the orifice.

With this simple operation and wide spring setting selection, the H200 Series Pop relief valves may be used where venting to atmosphere is acceptable and where some pressure relieving tolerance is acceptable.  A common application is on farm tap installations.
Fisher® Type H800 Relief Valve

Fisher® Type H800 relief valve is a compact, lightweight, direct-operated relief valve. It is used primarily between a pneumatic instrument and its supply pressure regulator to limit the instrument supply pressure to 50 psig / 3,4 bar should the supply pressure regulator fail open.
Fisher® Type MR108

Type MR108 backpressure regulators are direct-operated, high-capacity, multi-purpose regulators.  They are designed to handle pressures up to 400 psig / 27,6 bar and temperatures up to 250°F / 121°C. They provide reliable and economical control for different flow media like liquid, air, and gas.  Application includes lube oil systems and any application where speed of response is critical, minimum differential pressure is a concern, or fluid is not free of impurities.
