Fisher® FB and FBG fabricated angle and globe valves are used with compressible fluids on special applications requiring maximum noise attenuation capability and high capacity. Typical applications include main steam reducing valves and compressor bypass valves. FB and FBG valves are also commonly used for sour gas applications in petrochemical and gas processing plants.
Fisher® V260 Full Bore Pipeline Control Valve

Fisher® V260 is a full bore pipeline control valve designed for optimized pressure and flow control for ANSI 300 and 600 applications. An integral drilled attenuator controls noise and vibration from high-pressure drop liquids and gases. The splined shaft connection to the actuator eliminates lost motion allowing for precise control. The V260A with Aerodome attenuator, V260B with Hydrodome, and V260C ball control valves combine the efficiency of a rotary valve with the energy-dissipating capability of a special trim to provide improved performance for demanding capabilities. The valve is available with single, dual or dual block-and-speed seal options. The V260 full-bore ball valve is available with composition or metal seals, and process type stem packing for improved life. The preferred actuator for V260 is the 1061. The Bettis™ Scotch Yoke actuator is used when spring return capability is needed.

Aerodynamic Noise Control Silencer

PULSCO Blowdown Vent Silencers & Line Silencers
PULSCO blowdown vent silencers and line silencers provide the solution to high intensity, broadband noise associated with pressure relief systems and gas/steam line turbulence. The PULSCO design reduces low frequency noise by converting it to high frequency waves through multiple expansions and contractions pressurized diffuser and plenum sections. High frequency noise is then easily absorbed by the acoustic packing in the tube module.

Aerodynamic Noise Control Vent Diffusers

Fisher® 6012 Vent Diffuser

The Fisher® 6012 Vent Diffuser offers proven noise attenuation in steam, gas, or vapor venting applications. A vent diffuser places back pressure on the control valve while venting process to the atmosphere.

The Fisher vent diffuser shares the total system pressure drop with the vent valve. The benefits are:
           1) the vent valve noise is reduced and
           2) the noise at the atmospheric vent point is reduced.
